- Is it really Plug and Play?

- How is it different from SingNet?
For ADSL services delivered via Singnet, you will need to have telephone cable (RJ11) connected to a modem which in turn either connects to your router or wireless Access points. Here, you need to pay for the ADSL subscription including the need to pay for a telephone line known as a DEL.
- How is it different from MaxOnline?
For cable Internet services delivered via MaxOnline, you will need to be connected to a cable TV point where in turn you will need to be connected to either a router or wireless access points. In this instance, you will need to be located near a Cable TV point.
- What is ADSL?
In very simple term, this is dedicated Internet bandwidth that our customer gets to enjoy. It does not matter if we have one person, ten people or even 1000 person using the Internet network. For example, if one of our users opts for the 512kpbs Unlimited Broadband access plan, he/she will enjoy up to an uplink of 256kpbs and downlink of up to 512kpbs at all point in time, peak and non peak.
- Is Wireless Broadband stable?
WiMAX is a standard based technology using radio frequency to transmit data, voice and in the future, video stream. Hence, in nearness to your mobile phone transmission, once an area that has been defined with wireless access, users will enjoy stable connectivity.
- How can I upgrade my service to the next higher bandwidth?
All QMax services start with the default 256kbps service. Upgrades can be easily done upon our receipt of your written email approval. Such upgrades can be done over the air within one working day.
- Why is the price difference between Q512 and Qsoho so great?
It all boils down to QoS and difference in product features. Qsoho targeted at business users enjoy lower contention ratio, hence will enjoy better QoS. Modems utilized in the Qsoho plans can be upgraded to a 1MB plan with static IP address.
